Our Mission: To prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Boy Scout Troop 2970, sponsored by Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church, in Ashburn, VA., serves boys from all parts of
eastern Loudoun County, Virginia.
Troop 2970 provides an outstanding program created by boys for boys. With a huge variety of activities including:
camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, snowsports, national event participation, local activities, high adventure and regular
summer camps, and a strong commitment to District and NCAC Council events, there is something to please every
young man.
Troop 2970 is boy led using the patrol system. The senior patrol, consisting of the most seasoned and experienced
members offers leadership and guidance to younger scouts. Our adult leadership has over 20 years of experience
assisting young men dream, execute and experience scouting's ideas to the fullest.

| Snow Policy: Troop 2970 has a policy that if Loudoun County Schools are closed or close early Troop & Patrol meetings are canceled. Cancelation of other individual events are determined on a case by case basis. |
